Hotel le GRIFFON
The present general conditions (hereinafter "the General Conditions") have for object to govern relations between the client (hereinafter "the Client") and the company Hôtel le GRIFFON (hereinafter "HOTEL LE GRIFFON") and whose name and contact details are in the attached list to the General Conditions.
Article 1: Contractual documents - Order of precedence
1.1 The relations between HOTEL LE GRIFFON and the Customer are governed by the General Conditions, supplemented by their appendices (the description of the services - hereinafter "the Description of the Services" and the scale of tariffs invoiced to the Customer in case of degradation / deterioration or if some objects and / or furniture are missing in the rooms), as well as by the reservation summary on which appear especially the applied tariff and any special conditions linked to the chosen tariff (the payment conditions, on the one hand, and the cancellation and modification conditions - hereinafter the “Cancellation and modification policy”, on the other hand). of these documents constitutes the entire contract (hereinafter “the Contract”).
1.2 In the event of any contradiction between these various documents, the order of precedence will be as follows: (i) the General Conditions, (ii) the reservation summary, (iii) the appendices to the General Conditions.
Article 2: Prerequisites
The reservation of a room at HOTEL LE GRIFFON is reserved for legal and adult natural persons capable. By proceeding when booking a room with HOTEL LE GRIFFON, the Customer expressly declares that these conditions are met.
Article 3: Booking procedures
3.1 The reservation can be made on the HOTEL LE GRIFFON Site according to the following process and subject to the availability of the desired room (s):

Accept the general sales conditions
If the reservation request has been taken into account, the Customer receives an email to the email address indicated in the aforementioned form or appearing in the personal information provided, confirming his reservation.
3.2 The reservation can be made by the Customer by telephone. To do this, he directly calls the number indicated on the HOTEL LE GRIFFON website for this purpose and by following the following procedure:
The Customer indicates to the HOTEL LE GRIFFON contact person the number of rooms and the type of room he wishes to reserve, specifies the dates of his reservation and chooses from the proposed daily rates. He validates his choice after having received, from his interlocutor, the information concerning the complete description of the corresponding room (s), the prices, the services included in these prices, the payment conditions associated with the rates, as well as the Cancellation and Modification Policy.
He is then invited to provide his name and contact details as well as an e-mail address, and also, information corresponding to a bank card whose expiry date has not been exceeded at the time of the Customer's stay at the hotel in order to guarantee and pay for his reservation during his stay or to proceed, where applicable, to the prepayment of his reservation.
After validation, the Customer is informed of the proper consideration of his reservation request by receiving an email to the email address indicated by telephone confirming his reservation and communicating the General Conditions including the Description of Services. and the Cancellation and Modification Policy.
3.3 The reservation can be made by e-mail sent to HOTEL LE GRIFFON by the Customer according to the following process:
The Customer indicates in his email, the number of rooms and the type of room he wishes to reserve and, specifies the dates of his reservation.
Depending on availability, HOTEL LE GRIFFON sends the Customer an offer containing the proposed daily rates, the General Conditions and including the Description of Services, the payment terms associated with the rates, as well as the Cancellation and Modification Policy.
The Customer confirms his choice by return e-mail, after having read the full description of the corresponding room (s), prices, services included in these prices (such as Internet access from the or the room (s) and breakfast), the General Conditions and the Cancellation and modification policy related to the rate chosen, attached to the offer sent by HOTEL LE GRIFFON by email.
After validation, the Customer is informed of the proper consideration of his reservation request by receiving an email to the email address indicated by telephone confirming his reservation and communicating the General Conditions, including the Description of the Services and the Cancellation and Modification Policy.
3.4 Depending on the time of year, a minimum reservation period may be required. Information relating to the periods concerned and the minimum reservation period communicated on simple request by telephone.
3.5 All reservations are personal and may in no case be transferred to a third party, whether for free or for a fee or for commercial purposes.
Article 4: Stay at the hotel
4.1. The Customer undertakes to use the room assigned to him and more generally all the hotel facilities in a reasonable manner, in compliance with the regulations in force, good morals and public order.
4.2. The Customer is responsible towards HOTEL LE GRIFFON for all possible damage caused during his stay, as well as for any object or furniture belonging to the hotel which is missing at the end of his stay.
If HOTEL LE GRIFFON should notice any damage or if an object or furniture should be missing because of the Customer, HOTEL LE GRIFFON will be entitled to re-invoice the sum corresponding to the damage caused within 48 hours of departure. of the hotel, according to the price list attached to the General Conditions.
HOTEL LE GRIFFON would like to remind you that its hotel is non-smoking. The fact of smoking in the common areas and / or the rooms constitutes a degradation. HOTEL LE GRIFFON will, in this case, be entitled to re-invoice the sum corresponding to the damage caused, according to the price list available in the appendix hereto.
4.3. In the event of behavior contrary to good morals or public order, HOTEL LE GRIFFON may require the Customer to leave the hotel immediately, without the latter being able to claim any reimbursement or compensation.
4.4. If one or more minors occupy rooms reserved by the Customer, the latter undertakes that at least one adult is present in each of the reserved rooms.
4.5. The Client undertakes to:
Leave and entrust to the hotel, accessible 24 hours a day, objects and sums of money whose value is greater than 500,000 CFA Francs.
Any breach of these obligations will be considered gross negligence on the part of the Client.
4.6. The Client is informed that under equal arrangements and / or regulations, he may be required to complete a police form when arriving at the hotel and present a valid identity document.
The Customer is also informed that he must be able to present the bank card he used to book the room.
4.7. The Customer can enter and leave the hotel 24 hours a day, it being specified that, during certain time slots, an entry control system can be set up. The Customer is informed that in the event of loss or theft of his key, he may obtain a duplicate from the hotel. For security reasons, the Customer will be required to present a valid identity document to obtain this duplicate.
4.8. The rooms can be occupied by the Customer from 2 p.m.
4.9. Unless they benefit from the applicable stipulations in terms of early arrival or late departure (see article 4.10 for more details), the rooms must be vacated by the Customer before 12 noon from Monday to Friday and before 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, under penalty to be billed an amount equal to the rate in force on the day of the delay for one night for the corresponding room.
These sums are taken directly from the Customer's bank account corresponding to the bank card number given to HOTEL LE GRIFFON when making their reservation or subsequently.
4.10. Early arrival - Late departure: subject to availability, the Customer may request access to their room before 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival or keep it after 12:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday) and until 6:00 p.m. on the day of their arrival. departure. This service must be subscribed to on site with the hotel teams upon payment of an additional sum and subject to availability.
4.11. The details of the services included in the price of the night and the services invoiced in addition appear in the appendix to the General Conditions.
4.12. As part of the use of Internet access, whether wired or Wi-Fi, the Customer undertakes to comply with the Conditions of Use of Internet access which are communicated to him during his first connection and which can also be consulted at the hotel reception.
Article 5: Prices - Terms of payment
5.1. The Customer is informed of the prices of the subscribed services, prior to the conclusion of the Contract by consulting the HOTEL LE GRIFFON Site.
The prices indicated on the HOTEL LE GRIFFON Site are expressed in CFA Francs and in Euros. They include VAT and tourist development tax. The price indicated in the booking confirmation mentioned in article 3 includes VAT and tourist development tax. The amount of the tourist development tax appears on the detail of the booking confirmation for information. Any modification of the taxes in force or the introduction of new taxes after the reservation will be reflected in the total price paid by the Customer.
5.2. The rates indicated during the reservation are per room, for one night and up to a maximum limit of two (2) occupants per room (excluding children under twenty-four (24) months and with the possibility of adding a cot, free of charge).
5.3. Depending on the hotels and periods concerned, different types of rates may be offered to the Customer. The type and conditions of application of the different rates offered for a room in the hotel chosen by the Customer are detailed on the HOTEL LE GRIFFON Site and included in the Cancellation and Modification Policy.
5.4. Depending on the type of rate chosen by the Customer when booking, the price of the night (s) reserved must be paid by the Customer as follows:
Reservations without the possibility of free modification and cancellation require a prepayment. In this context, the price of the reserved night (s) must be paid by the Customer in full at the time of booking. In this case, the sums due are taken directly from the bank account corresponding to the bank card whose contact details were provided by the Customer at the time of the reservation, after validation of the reservation by HOTEL LE GRIFFON;
For reservations with the possibility of modification and cancellation, the price of the entire Customer's stay will be charged, from the Customer's arrival at the hotel. In this case, the sums due are taken directly from the bank account corresponding to the bank card whose contact details were provided by the Customer at the time of booking.
5.5 Any extras and / or compensation due to damage or missing items / furniture will also be debited directly from the bank account corresponding to the bank card whose contact details were provided by the Customer at the time of booking.
In this regard, HOTEL LE GRIFFON informs the Customer that his bank details are kept from the validation of his reservation. HOTEL LE GRIFFON reserves the right to use this data after the end of its stay for a period of 7 days.
The Customer is informed in advance of the details and amount of withdrawals that will be made from his account in the event of degradation noted by HOTEL LE GRIFFON at the end of its stay. Regarding the consumption of extra, a summary note is communicated to the Customer by email.
5.6. HOTEL LE GRIFFON can modify anything moment the rates for the different rooms without this modification having any consequences for the Customer who will, in any event, be billed the rate in force on the day of his reservation, except for modification of the taxes in force or the introduction of new taxes, as provided for in article 5.1 of these General Conditions.
HOTEL LE GRIFFON may also modify the rates for additional services. The prices applicable for these will be those on the day of their order by the Customer.
Article 6: Modifications - Cancellation
6.1. In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 2016-412 of June 15, 2016 relating to consumption, the Customer is informed that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for by articles 44 et seq. Of said law.
6.2. For each stay reservation, the terms of cancellation and / or modification of the reservation are detailed in the Cancellation and Modification Policy specific to the rate chosen, which is recalled in the reservation confirmation.
6.3 When the Customer has booked one or more night (s) without the possibility of cancellation and / or free modification, cancellation is not allowed. The commitment of the parties will be considered firm and final and the Customer will not be able to obtain any reimbursement of the sums paid as prepayment on the day of the reservation. However, the modification of the dates of the stay may be made up to 24 hours before the date of arrival for a stay in the next 12 months, subject to the availability of a room. In this case, the rate invoiced to the Customer will be that in force, at the time of the modification, for the new dates and the new type of room chosen by the Customer. If the new reservation is more expensive than the old one, the price difference will be due. If the new reservation is cheaper than the previous one, this price difference will not be refunded.
6.4 When the Customer has booked a night with the possibility of modification, the Customer may freely change the date of this night or the type of room until 6 p.m. on the day of the start of his stay at the hotel, subject to availability of a room in this hotel. In this case, the rate invoiced to the Customer will be that in force, at the time of the modification, for the new dates and the new type of room chosen by the Customer.
When the Customer has booked a night with the possibility of cancellation and modification, the following conditions apply:
In case of cancellation 24 hours before on the day on which the Client's stay at the hotel begins, no sum will be billed to the Client;
If the cancellation occurs during the 24h00 on the day of the start of the stay, this late cancellation will give rise to the invoicing of the total price of the night considered. This amount will be taken directly from the bank account corresponding to the bank card whose contact details were provided by the Customer when making their reservation. If, however, this debit proves impossible for any reason whatsoever (and in particular if the bank card in question was no longer valid), the Customer undertakes to pay the amount due by another means of payment accepted by the hotel. .
In the event of cancellation during the Customer's stay, the Customer will not be able to claim any reimbursement for the canceled night (s), the full amounts paid at the start of his stay in application of article 5.4. Remaining acquired from HOTEL LE GRIFFON.
These rules are applicable except in cases of force majeure within the meaning of article 9 or specific conditions specified in the Cancellation and modification policy specific to the chosen rate.
6.5 Except in cases of force majeure in application of article 9, if the Customer does not show up after 4 a.m. on the first day of his reservation ("no show"):
If the nights have been booked without the possibility of free modification or cancellation, the Customer will not be entitled to any refund or any compensation.
If the nights have been booked with the possibility of cancellation or modification, the amount of the first night will be directly debited from the bank account corresponding to the credit card whose contact details were provided by the Customer when booking and any nights additional reservations will be canceled free of charge, unless otherwise indicated in the Pricing Conditions.
In any case, unless the Customer has previously informed HOTEL LE GRIFFON by email or telephone before midnight that he could not be present before the deadline for arrival but that he nevertheless intended to join the hotel. subsequently and take possession of his room (s), the Customer is informed that HOTEL LE GRIFFON will put his room (s) up for sale.
6.6. If by extraordinary circumstances and excluding the case of force majeure, HOTEL LE GRIFFON should not be able to ensure the booked reservation, it will offer the Customer, at the Customer's choice, either the reimbursement of sums already paid, or rehousing in a partner establishment of at least equivalent category (HOTEL LE GRIFFON bearing the possible difference between the price of the room initially reserved by the Customer with HOTEL LE GRIFFON and the price of the room in the new establishment proposed by HOTEL LE GRIFFON) .
6.7 The cancellation and modification procedures are as follows:
When the Customer has reserved one or more nights with the possibility of cancellation, the cancellation of the reservation can be made directly with the hotel by email or telephone;
When the Customer wishes to modify his reservation, the modification of the reservation can be made at the hotel concerned, by e-mail or telephone, under the conditions described in 6.3 and 6.4 above.
Article 7. Liability - Complaints
7.1. The Customer is solely responsible for the choice of the services he wishes to book and their suitability for his needs and HOTEL LE GRIFFON will not be responsible in this regard.
7.2. Any complaints from the Client must be made to the hotel staff and, if the Client considers that no satisfactory solution has been found, must be sent by e-mail to the Management, the contact details of which appear at l Article 10 within a maximum period of thirty (30) days from the end of the Customer's stay in the hotel in question.

Article 9: Force majeure
No failure or omission by either party in the performance of its obligations under the Contract may be considered as a failure by that party to comply with its contractual commitments in the event that this failure or omission is due to an event of force majeure, as defined and recognized by the jurisprudence of Ivorian courts and tribunals. Force majeure will only release the party invoking it from its contractual obligations to the extent and during the time it is prevented from performing them.
Article 10: Personal data and cookies
10.1. The Customer's personal data collected by HOTEL LE GRIFFON is processed within the meaning of Law No. 2013-450 of June 19, 2013 relating to the protection of personal data, in particular management of the reservation, sending information, as well as payment and billing operations.
The processing of personal data carried out by HOTEL LE GRIFFON is declared to the Coastal Telecommunications Regulatory Authority ivory (ARTCI). The Customer's personal data are kept for a period of time necessary for the performance of the service and the monitoring of the commercial relationship. The Customer's personal data necessary to establish proof of a right or a contract will also be kept for the time necessary to allow HOTEL LE GRIFFON to comply with its legal and / or regulatory obligations.
Credit card data is kept for the period necessary for the performance of the Contract. In addition, they may be kept in an intermediate archive for proof purposes for a period of 13 months, depending on the debit date or 15 months in the case of deferred debit payment cards, it being specified that they may only be used. 10.2. The Customer's personal data collected by HOTEL LE GRIFFON must be communicated to third parties (in particular the manager of the reservation platform and the company in charge of the secure payment site) so that the services can be provided. These third parties can only use this data for the same purposes. The third parties have undertaken to take all the necessary security measures to guarantee the confidentiality of the Customer's personal data.
10.3. HOTEL LE GRIFFON may use the Customer's personal data for its own marketing operations by sending it, by any means whatsoever and in particular by e-mail, information on its products and services unless the Customer expressly objects to the communication. personal data.
With regard to commercial prospecting operations in destination of the Customer, HOTEL LE GRIFFON will keep its data for a period of three years from the end of the commercial relationship.
For the purposes of executing the Contract, HOTEL LE GRIFFON may need to collect the Customer's telephone number. The latter is informed of the existence of the list of opposition to canvassing.
10.4. The Customer has the right to access, modify, rectify, oppose and delete personal data concerning him, as well as a right to define directives relating to the fate of his personal data. after his death. The Customer may also request the communication of his personal data in an open and machine-readable format in order to be able to reuse them for personal purposes and, if necessary, transmit them to the organization of his choice. He can exercise these rights by writing to the Management, the contact details of which appear in article 8.
10.5. HOTEL LE GRIFFON takes all necessary measures to ensure the protection and confidentiality of personal data transmitted to it by the Customer.
Article 11. Miscellaneous
11.1. By express agreement between HOTEL LE GRIFFON and the Customer, e-mails and text messages exchanged for the execution of the Contract will have probative value.
11.2. These General Conditions of Sale may be modified and / or supplemented by HOTEL LE GRIFFON. In this case, the new General Conditions of Sale will be posted on the website https://www.hotellegriffon.com/ and will apply immediately for any new reservation made on the website or by telephone.
Article 12. Applicable law - settlement of disputes
The contract and the general conditions of sale are governed by Ivorian law.
In the event of a dispute relating to these general conditions of sale or to the execution of the contract, the Customer will contact the Hotel Customer Service.
In the event of a dispute not resolved amicably within 30 days from the referral to Customer Service, the Commercial Court of Abidjan will have sole jurisdiction.
